 BJP protecting rapists, am feeling insecure, Actress quits BJP.

Kathua and Unnao rape cases seem to raising voices of dissent within the BJP. Alleging that the party is "protecting rapists", actress Mallika Rajput has resigned from the party. She had shot into fame after her Bollywood flick Revolver Rani.

Rajput questioned the delay in action in the Unnao and Kathua rape cases, and took to social media to slam BJP. She said that she was feeing insecure in the party which "protects the rapists".

She uploaded a video, in which she can be heard saying “if a party can incite Hindu-Muslim violence, it can use a woman for politics". Rajput added that it was a matter of shame for her that a BJP MLA (Kuldeep Singh Sengar) was accused in the Unnao rape case. “This is the reason I am quitting the party,” said Rajput.

Rajput further said, “I do not wish to be a part of the party, which is continuously trying to protect the rapists.” she said. According to the actress the BJP should have demanded a fast track court for Unnao rape case trial.
