Soldier injured in Pakistani firing succumbs Today

Jammu: A soldier who was critically injured in cross border firing died in hospital today.

"Havaldar Charanjeet Singh, who sustained bullet injuries in ceasefire violation by Pakistan on 17 April, has succumbed to his injuries," said an official.

At least three soldiers were critically injured after Pakistan Army targeted Indian outposts in Mehandar Sector of Jammu region.
